Level 4 – Expanding Concepts Salsa
Our Level 4 Expanding Concepts Salsa series is designed for dancers who have a solid understanding of foundational salsa concepts and are ready to broaden their dance vocabulary. Building on the skills introduced in Level 3, this series explores how familiar movements and turn patterns can be connected, adapted, and executed in a variety of ways. Students will gain the confidence and versatility to dance with greater creativity while continuing to refine their technique, connection, and movement quality.
Series Focus:
This series emphasizes developing the technical skills that allow both leads and follows to become more confident, versatile, and expressive social dancers.
• Leads will focus on improving clarity of lead, timing, partner communication, efficient movement, and the ability to connect and adapt foundational concepts into more dynamic combinations.
• Follows will focus on strengthening technique, balance, body control, responsiveness, and movement quality while executing partner work. By building a strong technical foundation, follows will gain the confidence to begin developing their own styling naturally while maintaining excellent connection with their partner.
