This progressive 6-week series class is intended for absolute beginner students and introduces salsa On2 basics and foundational concepts. Throughout the six weeks we will focus on timing, musicality, building on the layers of the salsa basic step, learning left and right turns, simple footwork drills, and progressing with introductory partner work techniques that are fundamental to basic On2 salsa. This progressive 6-week series class is intended for advanced beginner students and elaborates on salsa On2 basics and foundational concepts covered in Level 1A. Throughout the six weeks we will continue to focus on timing, musicality, drilling left and right turns, footwork drills, and progressing with partner work techniques and combinations that are fundamental to basic On2 salsa. Note: Students must have completed Level 1A at least once to register for Level 1B.

This progressive 6-week class is designed for students who want to deepen and expand their knowledge. We explore how to combine the foundations of salsa dancing to create more intricate relationships between music, movement, and connection. Note: We expect students to come to class prepared with the following knowledge and abilities:
On2 salsa timing
Variations of the salsa On2 basic
Right and left turns (with & without partner)
Familiarity with Cross Body Leads (leads & follows)

Our Transitional Concepts Salsa series is designed for dancers who want to strengthen their understanding of foundational salsa concepts. From advanced beginners wanting to take their skills to the next level to intermediate dancers wanting to strengthen their dancing/teaching technique, students will benefit from taking a deep dive into bridging basic salsa movements to more complex turn patterns while maintaining simplicity and clean execution. In This Series Students Will Learn How To:
Navigate space on the dance floor (dance slots)
Use body positioning and framing
Utilize momentum and tension
Incorporate rotational movements
Before taking This Series Student Should Know the Following
On2 salsa timing
Variations of the salsa On2 basic
Right and left turns (with & without partner)
Familiarity with Cross Body Lead variations (leads & follows)

Our Turn Patterns & Styling series is designed for dancers who want to strengthen their understanding of foundational salsa concepts and enhance their partner work & styling technique. This class is for intermediate to advanced students wanting to strengthen their social dancing technique and take their skills to the next level. In this class the instructors will be taking a deep dive into bridging foundational salsa movements to more complex turn patterns while maintaining simplicity and clean execution.
*Note: This class is designed for Level 3 and above students who have experience dancing salsa On2 and that meet the class prerequisites. While these concepts should be familiar, they will be reviewed and refined during class to ensure everyone is on the same page.
